Time plus repetition is one of the most awesome forces in nature. It literally moves mountains. In the face of such a force, something so small and insignificant as a human goal will sooner or later fall at your feet with a sigh of surrender.

My February Hero of the Month is someone who did have a life, mostly due to his own courage and efforts. But it was far too short, and there were still many accomplishments which, had he lived long enough, he would have surely accomplished with that stellar, infectiously positive mindset of his. February’s Hero is Sam Berns who died last month on Jan. 10.
