The new Katniss teaser poster for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 evokes a Dark Knight–esque hero with Jennifer Lawrence clad in a jet black outfit complete with avian shoulder plates, her back turned to the camera. Recalling the note of anger and rebellion that the second film ended on, this image suggests a more purpose-driven Katniss, perhaps, in this third film and bespeaks of much badassery to come.
